We review iFlight UK, a flight tracking application for the iPhone
Published on Oct 12, 2009
We’ve all turned up at the airport, smile on face, case in hand only to be told there’s massive delay in our flight even boarding let alone taking off. But wouldn’t it be nice to have known that in advance?
Short of making every traveler psychic so they can predict what will happen with their chosen airline on the day, there’s little we can do other than remain at the mercy of the travel industry.
But there is another way. iFlight UK details the latest flight information for nine major UK airports.
It’ll let you track arrivals and departures en masse or drill down to search for a specific flight of your choice.
The pleasant user interface is a bit like the arrivals and departures boards you’d find in an airport.
But it’s actually much nicer to look at them on your phone rather than in a crowded, brightly lit airport with people continuously running over your foot with their hefty suitcases.
Whether you’re going on holiday or waiting to pick someone up from the airport, this app could save you a lot of hassle and headaches.
