Fifa News for the iPhone is a one stop shop for football news

FIFA News is the perfect app for any hardcore football fans.
Open the application up, and you’re presented with an extensive list of categories, from the latest news, 2010 FIFA World Cup news, world football, classic football and latest media releases.
When you tap on a category, a list of news stories with headlines and a description of the story is shown. Select one of these stories and you’ll be taken to the web page, although the application info bars remain.
The app is pretty slow in comparison to other news-based apps, but this is no real issue when you consider the rich, picture-filled stories.
In the settings menu, you can opt to disable pictures, which speeds the app up somewhat, and use offline mode, where each of the stories is cached for viewing when you don’t have a Wi-Fi or network connection.
A refresh option allows you to refresh the news headlines when you’re on one of the category home pages, although this is one feature that can’t be used without data enabled.
FIFA News is an app that will satisfy any football fan’s thirst for news on the move. It’s not as fully featured as some of the other generic news sites, but this isn’t a problem.
