Prepare yourself to become a millionnaire on the stock market with Stock Market Lessons

When it became undeniably clear that the financial markets were all going to manure, a lot of people lost a lot of money.

Even sound investing knowledge couldn’t have prevented a lot of the amassed wealth that got dumped down the drain as the tides turned.

However, that’s not to say that there’s no money to be made with a keen eye and a little understanding of the mechanics.

It’s that understanding that Stock Market Lessons aims to imbue it’s adopters with, breaking down the various areas of this most illusive of markets. As the title suggests, it’s a tutorial application.

The first thing you notice upon hitting the launch icon from your home page is that the app is a very basic one. The interface is simple and all but void of illustration.

If you’re the kind of person whose brain melts at the site of walls of text then you should stop reading right about……..here.

On the plus side however, the text are broken down into categories and subcategories in a very effective manner which makes things easier to digest for anyone not familiar with the basics.

For example, the introduction section itself features six subcategories which, in addition to the intro, cover matters such as when to invest, how much to invest, where to invest and investment growth via compounding.

The text is littered with links which will exit the application to websites via Safari that will aid or further guide you on your investment adventures. Aside from the links, the only other breaking up of the text is in the form of advertisement banners.

The app costs £1.19 already so we were surprised to see them here – normally ads are seen in free apps. Most are easily ignorable but some flash alternate colours which are a little annoying. A distraction is the last thing you want on your mind when you’re learning how to put hard-earned cash on the line.

The real test of such an app though is how much it can teach you.

Before reading the app, we knew precious little about the stock market. Once we’d finished reading through a lot of the literature though, we felt pretty well-versed in the goings on of investing.

Considering how few books on the subject you could buy for £1.19, that’s a pretty good effort. The app would be worth a look for anyone thinking of taking up such an endeavor and wants to browse something on the train on the way home.
