Grimm Fairytales review

We review Grim Fairytales, a collection of some of the most loved childrens classic complete with eBook reader
Published on Oct 8, 2009
Grimm’s Fairytales are stories from most peoples’ childhood, and the iPhone app makes 200 of them easier to read on your iPhone.
The eReader was developed by BeamitDown, and works differently to other eBook readers because it scrolls automatically depending on how much you tilt the screen. If you tilt it backwards, it scrolls faster. Tilt the phone towards you and the text will scroll slower.
You can also adjust the speed by tapping the screen and selecting the faster or slower option at the bottom.
Each of the books is presented as a chapter, and there’s no search option if you want to read a particular book.
It’s also sometimes a little hard to switch between reading the text and changing the book on Grimm’s Tales compared to other eBook readers, which makes it feel quite cumbersome.
However, the app packs a lot of content in comparison to other books available on the App Store and the way it works is intuitive. After some tweaking, Grimm’s Tales could be a real winner for those looking for some light hearted entertainment or if you want to read books to children.
