Foursquare, as confirmed by its CEO Dennis Crowley via Twitter, has secured its 2 millionth customer – or, registered user, depending on how you look at it.
The social networking app with a review-twist has turned into something of a trend of late with more and more people signing up.
So much so, that now Foursquare has 2.6 million users – the 2 million mark was confirmed on July 10.
If Foursquare hits the 3 million mark this month – and we’d be really surprised if it didn’t – then it would most likely take over MyTown, another popular social networking GPS-based application.
