You can finally watch Sky television on your Android device - the Sky Go app has just arrived on the Android Market.

Providing you have a 3G or Wi-Fi connection, you can stream television straight to your Android smartphone.

Before you rush off to download the free app, like with Sky on other platforms, the amount of channels you can watch will depend on your current Sky package. So if you aren't a subscriber, don't think you'll be watching much.

If you are a subscriber, though, all four Sky Sports channels, Sky Sports News, ESPN, Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Arts 1, Sky News and 11 Sky movie channels should provide plenty of mobile television entertainment.

For those of you with Android smartphones and tablets, the Sky Go app allows one subscriber to watch Sky TV on up to two devices at the same time.

According to Tech Radar, Sky will be adding its Formula One channel to the service in March, 2012.

Sky Go is available now from the Android Market. A number of devices are supported, including the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Desire S.
