The Chrome desktop browser is now available for Android.
The browser allows you to surf the web with Google's open-source solution on any Android tablet smartphone running the Ice Cream Sandwich update.
Although you can switch between tabs on pages and type in URLs, as you would expect, Flash content won't work, which puts it on par with Mozilla's equivalent.
Speaking to ZDNet, Chrome head honch Sundar Pichai said: 'Chrome for Android is designed from the ground up for mobile devices.
'We reimagined tabs so they fit just as naturally on a small-screen phone as they do on a larger screen tablet. You can flip or swipe between an unlimited number of tabs using intuitive gestures, as if you're holding a deck of cards in the palm of your hands, each one a new window to the web.'
A couple of standout features include autocomplete search functionality and Link Preview, a feature that lets you zoom in on groups of links when you hold down on the screen, helping you to press the link you want.
The Chrome beta app can be downloaded now from the Android Market.
