"The Samsung Pixon excels at pretty much everything it does, from photo taking to web browsing and it is also easy to use, with a touch-screen interface that is refreshingly clear, intuitive and well thought out. A week’s rigorous testing suggests that the touch display is responsive and enjoyable to interact with and is probably the first that really competes favourably with the iPhone on virtually every level."

“With so many Nseries handsets hitting the market, Nokia is trying to offer something for everyone and the result has been that you get a series of phones that are virtually all the same.  So what's the verdict? Well if you are looking for a slim Nokia handset that will offer you most things without bothering you with touchscreen or QWERTY keyboard action then this appears to be a really good option.”

"The Samsung Pixon is an accomplished camera phone that takes high-quality pictures in low light. Compared to the Renoir we found the interface to be a little more refined, but overall it's a very similar experience. As we pointed out with the Renoir, the Pixon's touchscreen isn't the best out there and we think both companies can do better."

“The Samsung Pixon is a touchscreen phone with an outstanding 8 megapixel camera and a stunning 3.2 inch display. With 3G video calling, a music player & FM radio, accelerated web browsing, GPS and plenty of memory it's a very well equipped all-rounder. The only thing missing is WiFi support.”

“This 3G touch screen mobile phone is a magnificent edition to the already popular Samsung mobile phone family. The user can enjoy using touch screen controls on the large 3.2 inch colour display when accessing an array of user friendly features…This desirable 3G phone comes with a built in 8 megapixel camera complete with easy to use imaging features and an integrated music player which provides high quality surround sound.”

“The plastic casing won't be to all tastes, though it does help keep this phone's weight down to an acceptable 122g…On the top edge is one of the things I like least about this phone; Samsung's multifunction port. You use this to administer mains power, connect to a PC and connect headphones. The good news is that the provided headset has a 3.5mm connector…so you can substitute your own headphones for the provided in-ear buds if you want to, but I'd have preferred a 3.5mm connector on the phone itself.”

"It's no slouch when it comes to the specifications…Besides 3G and HSDPA, the phone also has GPS, a 240x400 pixel display with 262,144 colours, accelerometer and WVGA video capture.  You can also do 120 frames per second recording if you want to have super-smooth slow motion playback."

“Samsung has created anything but a monster with the Pixon. If you want something sexy and slinky to hang from your arm on a night out that can also hold its own when it comes to demonstrating both brains and beauty, the Pixon could be the one for you.”

"Yes, the latest feature-heavy phone from the Korean giant goes big on photography, throwing in an 8MP camera with auto focus, face recognition, smile detection, blink detection, reduced shake, shoZu upload, GPS tagging and WVGA movies. In fact, we're not sure if this is a phone with camera or a camera with phone."
