This guide will show you how to add contacts to your Samsung Galaxy S2

Follow these steps to add new contacts to your Samsung Galaxy S2.

 

  1. From the homescreen, open the application list (App drawer) and select the ‘Contacts’ icon.
  2. Tap the plus (+) icon.
  3. Select a memory location. If you have more than one account, select an account you want to add the contact to.
  4. Enter the contact information into the relevant fields.
  5. Select ‘Save’ to add the contact to memory.

 

You can also create a contact from the dialling screen

 

  1. From the homescreen, open the application list (App drawer)and select the dialpad shortcut.
  2. Enter a phone number.
  3. Select ‘Add to Contacts’.
  4. Select a memory location.
  5. Enter the contact information into the relevant fields.
  6. Select ‘Save’ to add the contact to memory.

 

How to create a group of contacts

By creating groups of contacts, you can manage multiple contacts and send messages or email to an entire group.

 

  1. From the homescreen, open the application list (App drawer) and select ‘Contacts’.
  2. Select ‘Groups’.
  3. Press the ‘Menu’ key.
  4. Press ‘Create’.
  5. Enter a name and select a ringtone for the group.
  6. Select ‘Save’.
