LG will launch three new handsets at CES 2013, according to reports: a regular smartphone, a Galaxy Note 2-like device, and a 7-inch tablet

Following on from the success it achieved with the Nexus 4, LG is apparently aiming to make something of a splash at CES 2013 via the launch of three key devices.

Reports claim LG will unveil a regular 4.8-inch smartphone, a Galaxy Note 2-like device with full 1080p display, and a 7-inch tablet device. All of which will, of course, be powered by Android.

GSMArena is reporting that the Galaxy Note 2-like device could be called the LG Optimus G2.

The G2 will apparently feature a 5.5-inch full HD 1920x1080 resolution display and a pixel density of 403 pixels-per-inch, bringing it well inline with HTC’s J Butterfly and Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z smartphone.

LG’s 7-inch slate will also pack something of a punch, according to the report, with a display resolution of 1920 x 1200 resolution and a class-leading pixel density of 324ppi.

CES 2013 kicks off on January 8 and runs until January 11. Know Your Mobile will be in attendance to bring you all the news as it happens, so stay tuned for that one because this year's show looks set to be an absolute stonker!
