Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to feature 6.3-inch screen
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will feature a 6.3-inch screen and will launch in 2013
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could launch in 2013, with a staggering 6.3-inch OLED screen.
We're fully aware screens are getting larger, but seeing as the Note series of devices are marketed as phone and tablet, we're confused.
Just how exactly would you use a 6.3-inch screen device as a phone?
According to the Korea Times, Samsung is planning the beast to coincide with Huawei's 6.1-inch phablet rumoured last week.
Although no source from Samsung has revealed the release date, the Korea Times quotes an official from Samsung who says the company is investing in implementing its OLED TV screen functionality into smartphones and tablets from next year, while it cuts LCD workforce. The Galaxy Note 3 could be the first to show this development off.
Local parts suppliers told the website that the Galaxy Note 3 would be the first device to feature a 6.3-inch screen of this nature.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has received mixed reviews, with some saying its 5.5-inch screen is far too big to use as a phone.
Others love how the Note's large screen makes it perfect to use with a stylus alongside the S Pen features.
The world is certainly divided, but will a 6.3-inch screen increase the divide further? We think so.
