Samsung’s innovative multi-window feature, which debuted on the Galaxy Note 10.1, is reportedly coming to the Galaxy S3

Samsung’s innovative multi-window feature is reportedly coming to the Galaxy S3.

Originally debuted aboard the Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung’s multi-window feature lets you have two apps open at once, say Chrome and YouTube. This means you''ll be able to browse a page in Chrome, while also playing a YouTube video.

Only a select few applications can be used in multi-window mode, which is slightly irritating, but Samsung did add a few more when it released the Galaxy Note 2.

And now it seems that Samsung has plans to bring the feature to its current hero device, the Galaxy S3. Leaked images captured by TGSpot reveal how the feature might look running on the Galaxy S3’s 4.8-inch display.

SamMobile claims that users could see the update land before the end of the year.

Lets just hope it’s rolled out with wider support when it hits the Galaxy S3.

Samsung has yet to officially comment on this rumour.
