Samsung Galaxy Ace specs confirmed
Specs for the Samsung Galaxy Ace (AKA: S5830, Cooper and Galaxy S Mini) have surfaced online
Specs for the Samsung Galaxy Ace have surfaced online. The device in question, however, has also gone by the following names as well: the Samsung SH5830, the Samsung Galaxy Cooper and the Samsung Galaxy S Mini.
So far, there’s no official confirmation on the device’s name. So it could be called any of the above-mentioned things – or, alternatively, the Samsung S5830 Galaxy Mini Cooper Ace. But that’s a bit of a tongue twister, so we doubt it.
Names aside, what’s interesting about this device is its specs, which have been leaked onto the internet.
Here’s what we know so far: the device, which measures in at 112.4 x 59.9 x 11.5mm, will be powered by Android 2.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0 UI layered over the top – much like the Galaxy S. The ‘Ace’ will also feature a 3.5-inch 480x320 pixel display and is reported to be powered by an 800Mhz Qualcomm processor.
There’s also reports of a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 150MB of internal memory, MicroSD support and the device is expected to ship with 2GB SD card as standard.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace/Cooper/Mini will be getting officially unveiled at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Expect lots more news then.
