How to merge contacts on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
We explain how to merge contacts on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
If you're the proud owner of a new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, the latest tablet to hit the market, the chances are you'll have already added your Google, Facebook, Twitter and any other email exchange accounts that you use on a regular basis.
This probably means that your contacts now look rather scattered; possibly offering several different entries all for the same person and tapping through each and every one to find who you're looking for is going to be a slog.
Fortunately, Samsung has anticipated this and built a function into the Galaxy Note 10.1 to allow you to go through and merge these contacts, and we've put together a quick guide to show you how.
- Grab your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
- Hit the ‘Menu' icon
- Touch ‘Apps'
- Tap ‘Contacts'
- Select the contact you want to merge
- Tap ‘List'
- Touch ‘Menu'
- Tap ‘Join contact'
- Tap each contact that you want to link from the list
- Touch ‘Join'
- This will now join all of the contacts that you chose into one and you can repeat these steps for any others that you wish to merge!
