Readers of the Metro can now get it sent straight to their iPad with the Metro app

For those who like to read the Metro's print media on a digital device, Metro UK is now available on the iPad.

Metro, already currently available on the iPhone and iPod Touch, makes reading the news that much easier.

Aside from not having to bash someone as you turn the pages, Metro includes links on the front page to the related articles.

Moving between pages is done with the single-finger iconic swipe, and sections, a dual-finger - couldn’t be simpler from the sounds of things.

As well as providing all the news from the Metro newspaper, the UK’s third largest newspaper, the app helps you plan your events and entertainment for the week.

Jamie Walters, Digital Director of Metro, said, “We’re really excited to be able to give people the chance to take control of how they read their Metro with the new iPad app.

“The design suits those eager for the daily headlines as well as leisurely browsers.”

Metro UK can be downloaded for all Apple devices for free.
