SD cards may not work on Android 3.0 Honeycomb at launch
Android Tablet OS is missing SD support, according to Motorola
Mark Notton, product manager for Motorola, demonstrated the Xoom tablet at CES 2011, but said the micro SD port would not work on release, requiring an update "soon after launch."
Notton explained that this was a "Honeycomb issue rather than a Motorola one", suggesting that Honeycomb may not support SD cards for any Android tablet until it gets an update.
