
Using the web and bookmarks on the Nokia N95

Set up a bookmark
To save the page you are looking at as a bookmark choose Options with the left selection key and pick Save as bookmark from the menu list. Use the name automatically given or type your own, then pick OK with the left selection key.
The page will now appear listed when you open the Web browser. The N95 creates bookmarks automatically as you move around. Choose the Auto bookmarks folder in the Web Main menu to see these.
Move around within a Web page
When you are at a Web page use the directional buttons to move around. It moves an on-screen cursor. When this is over a link you want, press it to select.
If you move the cursor quickly a Mini Map appears of the page you are on with a section highlighted with a red rectangle. Stop scrolling and the section inside the red rectangle fills the screen.
To turn this feature on or off when using the browser choose Options with the left selection key, then scroll down to Settings and click it. Now scroll down to where it says Mini map and click to turn this either on or off.
Set some preferences
Customise how the browser works by choosing Options with the left selection key, then scrolling down to Settings and clicking it. In Settings you will be presented with the following options:
- General - Access point, Homepage, Mini map, History List, Security
- Page - Load content, Screen size, Block pop-ups, Font size
- Privacy - Auto. bookmarks, Form data saving, Cookies
- Web feeds - Automatic updates
Make the settings that suit you best then choose Back. You can access these options and change at any time.
