Figuring out 3-D ringtones on the Nokia N95
Your Nokia N95 can apply 3-D effects to certain ringtones that sound especially good through earphones
You are probably wondering what on earth 3-D ringtones are and how they can improve your overall experience with the Nokia N95. The are ringtones that introduce three dimensional sound effects.
Using Sound trajectory and reverberation these ringtones enhance the feel of your ringtones and is a feature you can brag about to your friends.
To access the 3-D ringtone application:
- From the start-up screen select the Main menu button
- Select Tools
- Then scroll down to select 3-D Ringtones
Once in the 3-D ringtones menu you will be presented with the following menu:
- 3-D ringing tone effects
- Ringing tone
- Sound trajectory
- Trajectory speed
- Reverberation
Now click where it says ‘3-D ringing tone effects’ to turn this feature on.
Next scroll down to where it says ‘ringing tone’ and click. Wait as each tone plays then select whichever you prefer.
When you are happy select Exit with the right Selection key

In the Menu screen click on Tools

In the Tools menu select 3D Ringtones

You will then be directed to the 3D Ringtones menu where you can switch 3D Ringtones on

Next scroll down to where it says ‘ringing tone’ and click. Wait as each tone plays then select whichever you prefer
