Using the Internet on the Nokia N95

Navigate your way around the world wide web direct from your Nokia mobile phone

You might not need to use the Web from your phone constantly, but it pays to know how to make the most of its browser just the same. Those occasions when you need to check on a snippet of information to make your day flow well, from a train time to a cinema location, can be a breeze rather than a trauma if your Web skills are honed.

Go to a Web site
To open the Web browser tap the Nokia Menu Key to the left of the directional keys. Scroll down to choose Web and the browser will open. If this is the first time you’ve used the N95 it’ll ask you to define a home page. Select No with the right selection key.

Select Options then Go to web address. Type a Web site address starting with ‘www.’ Remember the 1 key gives you the dot between each element of the address. Press the left selection key to Go to the Web site.

You will then be asked to select an access point. Choose either your network provider or if you are in a Wi-Fi area search for WLAN or select a server. You will then be directed to your selected website.
