To give yourself quick and easy access to these favourites, you can customise three different sets of shortcuts
The first in a series of guides about customising shortcuts on the Nokia N73 - we show you how to put your shortcuts into the Left and Right Selection keys
Your Nokia N73 has a lot of software on board, and you may find there are some applications you use a lot more often than others.
To give yourself quick and easy access to these favourites, you can customise three different sets of shortcuts: the left and right selection keys, the Active Standby screen and the Multimedia key shortcuts. This guide will show you how to customise the Left and right selection keys.
Left and right selection keys
The left and right selection keys give you quick access to two features of the Nokia N73. To customise them do the following:
- Press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the 1 and 2 keys and choose Tools
- In the Tools screen click on Settings
- In the Settings screen click on Phone
- In the Phone settings screen click on Standby mode
- Now use the Scroll key to move down to the text Left selection key and click. Choose the feature you want this key to take you to by scrolling through the list and clicking to make your selection. Repeat this with the text ‘right selection key’
- When you are finished choose Back with the right Selection key and keep pressing Back until you return to the Active Standby screen
