Using recorded sound clips as ringtones on the N70
Sandra Vogel
We show you how your Nokia N70 can use a clip you've recorded as a a personalised default ringtone
If you get sick of the default Nokia ringtone - and let's face it we all are already - you can easily change it to one you've recorded or downloaded.
To set a sound recording as the ringing tone for your Nokia N70 follow these steps:
- press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the 1 and 2 keys and use the navigation key to find Tools and choose that
- use the navigation key to find Profiles and choose that
- select the profile you want to use with the new ringtone with the navigation key and then choose Options with the left select key then choose Personalise
- use the navigation key to highlight where it says ‘Ringing tone’ and press its centre to select this. Scroll down through the various tones and tunes available till you get to the one you saved. Hint: If you linger on any tone it will play so you can hear a sample of it.
- choose Select with the left select key
