Your Nokia N70 has a built in reader for PDF documents. It is straightforward to use

If you have a document in PDF format that you would like to read, either received as an email attachment or copied onto your phone from your computer, then you will find the built in reader useful.

Here’s how to make the most of it on the relatively small screen of your Nokia N70.

Open a PDF document
The PDF reader is on the memory card that came with your phone, so make sure this is inserted.

Press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the 1 and 2 keys, scroll down to Office using the navigation key and press to select it. Now navigate to Adobe PDF and press the centre of the navigation key to select this.

Any PDF documents on your phone will be listed. Scroll to the one you want and press the centre of the navigation button to select it. The document will open.

Beneath the document you will see on the left an indication of how many pages there are in the document and, expressed as a percentage, the relative size of the document on screen.

to navigate through the document press the navigation button up and down and, if it extends beyond the width of the screen, left and right too
to zoom in choose choose Options with the left select key, then Zoom, then make a selection.
Choosing ‘In’ and ‘Out’ will zoom in and out in increments
Choosing ‘To %’ will zoom to a particular percentage size. Choosing 75% and above should mean you can read text
Choosing ‘To fit screen’ will mean that a whole page shows on screen at once. You are not likely to be able to read any of the document
Choosing ‘To fit width’ will mean a whole pages stretches across the full width of the screen. Again you are not likely to be able to read much text
To make the most of the screen space choose Options with the left select key then View then Full Screen. The left select key still functions and you can choose View then Normal screen to go back to the original view
To search for text in a document choose Find then type the word or phrase you want, then choose OK with the left selection key

When you are finished with a particular PDF document, choose Back with the right selection key, then choose another document or choose Exit with the same key.
