Nokia N70 camera samples
A selection of sample digital photos to show the quality of the Nokia N70's 2-megapixel camera
The main camera on the Nokia N70 shoots stills at resolutions up to 2 megapixels (that is 1600 x 1200 pixels), and it has a 20x digital zoom. Starting the camera couldn’t be easier. A lens cover sits along the full width of the back of the 70 and all you have to do is slide this down to reveal the camera lens. The main screen turns into a viewfinder, and you can simply point and click a button on the right side of the casing to take a photo. Slide the lens cover back and the camera software shuts down.
Camera settings are pleasantly un-technical - phone resolutions are described as Print (1600x1200), Email (1024x768) and MMS (640x480). There are pre-set Scene settings too, optimised for portrait, landscape, night shots and fast-moving sporting photos. You can even define your own settings by combining flash, white balance and colour tone into one easy-to-access customised mode.
