Mobile Choice Nokia 8600 Luna Review "Along with the 8800 Sirocco, the Luna is one of the finest-built handsets around with a supreme slider action... (but) Limited memory hampers an otherwise great-sounding music player, while camera quality is average... Another case of style over substance, but when the 8600 Luna has this much class, we'll forgive its feature flaws." Go the Mobile Choice website |

CNET.co.uk “Judged on its price to specification ratio, the 8600 would barely merit a glance. You can pick up perfectly functional pay-as-you-go handsets with more advanced multimedia features for a fraction of its price. But style phones follow their own rules, and by any measure this is a tough, usable mobile that doesn't altogether deserve its likely fate -- to be ruthlessly upgraded when it loses its cool in approximately six months. If you fancy taking a look at some more affordable fashionable options, the LG Shine and the Samsung D840 are two very attractive phones. ” Read the CNet.co.uk Nokia 8600 Luna review |

Mobile Phones UK “In summary, we feel that this is an excellent alternative to the 8800 Sirocco phone - it costs about the same, and it's going to be just as exclusive. In many ways it's a better phone with an improved LCD screen, a better keypad and the benefit of quadband. On the negative side it lacks a memory card slot and is rather heavy (just like the Sirocco), but the Nokia 8-series phones are about looks and exclusivity first and the 8600 offers both of these. The new Nokia 8800 Arte is even better and even more expensive!” Read Mobile Phones UK's Nokia 8600 Luna review |

The Nokia 8600 Luna comes with a built in FM radio feature & a two megapixel camera complete with a 4 x digital zoom function. The Luna is a quad band network mobile phone & supports Bluetooth technology which allows the user to transfer files wirelessly between the phone & other compatible devices.” Read Your Mobile Phone Reviews Nokia 8600 Luna review |

Trusted Reviews “The 8600 Luna is a stunning handset in some respects. Simple clean lines define the design and it feels a million dollars in the hand. Just as well, as it costs a heck of a lot SIM free... For that kind of money you have the right to expect a phone with plenty of features. But Nokia has decided not to provide them, knocking out a phone that is hampered in both the music playing and photography departments. We can't help wondering why, since alongside hardware design these are the two factors that really help sell a mobile in today's climate.” Read the Trusted Reviews Nokia 8600 Luna review |

What Mobile “Nokia has taken the 6300 and given it a no-expense-spared facelift. There's a price to pay for this, as you'll need to spend around £50 a month to get it for free. The glass display and lining make the Luna what it is, plus it's nicely weighted and feels sold. It's equipped with stereo speakers, 16.8 million colour display, a sturdy sliding mechanism, FM radio, stereo, Bluetooth, email, web browser and a media player with 1GB of memory. It's even made in Germany - the home of quality engineering. Enough said really - this is a potential classic. ” What Mobile October 2008 |
