Nokia 6300 camera samples
A selection of sample digital photos to show the quality of the Nokia 6300's 2-megapixel camera
Published on Jun 21, 2007
The Nokia 6300's 2-megapixel camera is something of an add-on rather than a main feature of the phone - there's no dedicated camera activation key or shutter button, and there's no flash, although anyone familiar with the ineffective nature of LED flashes on mobile phones won't mourn its absence.
Nevertheless, the 6300's camera has a similar spec to those on similar models like the Nokia 6233. Its top resolution of 1600x1200 produces images large enough to print to 6x4in paper, and while there's no autofocus on the 6300, we found it produced clean, sharp images.
Best of all, if you only use the supplied 128MB memory card, the 6300's camera doesn't produce the memory-hungry images that most 2-megapixel cameras churn out, and captures images at six resolutions, right down to a text-able 160x120.
