Setting an SMS font size on the 6280
Want to squeeze more words onto your screen when texting, or is the standard font size just too small for you? The Nokia 6280 offers three different sizes
If the default text size you see when writing and receiving SMS messages is too large or small, try the Nokia 6280’s smaller or larger fonts instead. To change font size:
- From Standby mode, click Menu
- Highlight Messaging and click Select
- Scroll up to highlight Message settings and click Select
- Highlight General Settings and click Select
- Highlight Font size and click Select. You’ll see three choices – Small font, Normal font and Large font
- Highlight your choice of font size and click Select
- Click the red end key to return to Standby mode
Next time you write or receive a text, it will appear in the active font size.

In the main menu, highlight Messaging and click Select

Highlight Font size (the current setting is in small letters to its right) and click Select

Highlight your chosen font size and click Select to confirm. Hold down the red Back key and the next text you send or receive will be written in the size of your choice
