Set your homepage
Your browser needn't always open on the homepage chosen by your service provider. Here's how to choose your own homepage
Selecting Home from the main Web options page opens your preset home page in your browser. This will often be the homepage of your mobile network provider, but is easy enough to change. To set your homepage:
- From Standby mode, click Menu.
- Highlight Settings and click Select.
- Highlight Configuration and click Select.
- Highlight Personal config. settings and click Select.
- Find your web settings. This will usually be indicated with a globe icon. Highlight this and click Select.
- The second item on the next screen will be ‘Homepage’. Highlight this and click Select.
- Delete the current homepage by clicking Clear, and enter your preferred homepage, remembering to include the ‘http://’. Click OK to see the ‘Saved’ message.
- Click the red End key to return to Standby mode.
The next time you choose Web > Home from the main menu, your chosen homepage should load.
For even faster access to your homepage, why not add it to your Go to menu - see Customise the Go to menu for details. Simply mark Home from the Select options screen.
