"As many of our loyal readers will be aware, while Mobile Choice remains a big fan of Sony Ericsson's Walkman range, we can't help but it they could do with a bit of a revamp. Well, it would appear that the manufacturer takes our reviews on board as it has promptly brought out the new Sony Ericsson W910i, complete with HSDPA and a 'shake control' function. Overall, it's great to see Sony Ericsson looking to improve an already cracking range of phones. The W910i is not the complete article, but it certainly bodes well for the future of the Walkman range."

"Nokia has certainly got itself on the map when it comes to mobile phone satellite navigation. Its line-up of GPS-enabled handsets continues to expand rapidly, while its recently completed megabucks takeover of mapping data company Navteq points clearly to the direction in which it wants its Sat Nav portfolio to go. The Nokia 6210 Navigator is the successor to last year's 6110 Navigator, and majors on its satellite navigation capabilities, with A-GPS technology inside, plus Nokia Maps mapping software covering the UK and Ireland loaded up on to a supplied 1GB memory card...Although the 6210 Navigator packs in much of the features and functionality usually seen on Nokia's high-end Nseries models, there's no Wi-Fi on this particular handset."

“The Nokia 6210 Navigator is a 3G Smartphone which focused on its navigation features & communication functions. This stylish Smartphone will make the perfect travelling companion for all business & personal users whom travel to new places on a regular basis. The handset comes with a smooth slide opening mechanism which makes it easy to open up the handset to reveal the keypad... The main feature on this stylish 3G Smartphone is it's built in navigation system which allows the user to get direction whether the user is travelling by foot or by car.”

“A GPS-equipped phone that offers a large display for browsing, with built-in Nokia Maps and a 6 month navigation license for driving and pedestrian usage. The 6210 is a smartphone that also includes 3G HSDPA, video calling, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a music player and FM radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a microSD memory card slot that can take cards up to 8GB. On the negative side, the build quality is poor, and battery life is challenged too... In our opinion, Nokia have fumbled the upgrade of the 6110. They've made some definite improvements, but in other ways they've made the phone worse. And in the year that has passed since the launch of the 6110, GPS-enabled phones have become much more common. Nokia needed to move forward, but instead they drifted sideways.”

“When Nokia’s 6110 Navigator slider arrived this time last year, it kept very exclusive company. With only the Nokia N95 and a handful of Windows Mobile smartphones packing built-in GPS, it proved a leading contender. Now with practically every Nseries and Eseries phone and rival flagship devices arriving with onboard navigation as standard, its successor, the 6210, faces far stiffer competition... The 6210 remains a great sat nav smartphone but, apart from a six months free trial to sweeten the deal, you could argue Nokia stablemates like the N95 8GB, N82, N78, E71 E66 and 6120 Classic offer similar GPS performances, but with more mouth-watering features.”
