How to set up Bluetooth on the Nokia 6120 Classic
How to set up Bluetooth on your Nokia 6120 Classic so it can communicate wirelessly with your PC or other Bluetooth-enabled devices
Bluetooth is a wireless communications system you can use to exchange information with other devices that also have Bluetooth. Examples include your PC or Mac and other phones. The Nokia 6120 Classic also includes the capability to print photos using Bluetooth.
Bluetooth devices identify themselves to each other using names embedded in them. Your Nokia 6120 will have the same name as every other 6120, so the first thing to do is change this so that it identifies your phone as distinct from everyone else’s.
Turn Bluetooth on
Press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the 1 and 2 keys and choose Settings then Connectivity and finally Bluetooth.
In the Bluetooth menu click on Bluetooth to toggle between Off and On states. Make sure it is set to On
Now scroll to where it says My phone’s visibility. If it says Hidden click the navigation key so that it says Shown to all. Now you will be able to connect to other devices.
Set up a unique name for your phone
Now scroll down to where it says My phone’s name and click the navigation key. Enter a new name for your phone to replace the preset Nokia 6120, then choose OK. The new name should be displayed on screen.
