The Active Standby screen is the screen that displays when you turn your Nokia 6120 Classic on. It offers you shortcut icons to six applications as well as Calendar and To Do list entries.
To get quick access to the Active Standby screen click on the Nokia Menu button to the left of the blue and green keys. One click will take you to the main menu screen, clicking it again brings up the Active Standby screen.
To view Calendar or To Do list entries or run one of the applications from its shortcut icon use the Scroll key to highlight what you want and then press.
To customise the six application shortcuts follow these instructions:
- In the main menu screen click on Settings
- In the Settings screen click on Phone settings
- In the Phone settings screen click on the General tab and then select Personalisation
- In the Personalisation menu click on Standby mode
- Finally choose Active standby apps.
- You can customise each of the six shortcuts. Highlight the one you want to change with the Scroll key, then press it. Now scroll through the list of available options and press when the one you want to shortcut to is selected
- When you are finished choose Back with the right Selection key and keep pressing Back until you return to the Active Standby screen
