How to use the alarm clock on the Nokia 6120

If you are on holiday or a business trip and there is no alarm clock to hand, don’t panic. Your Nokia 6120 Classic has its own alarm function built in. It is so easy to set up that you may find yourself using it to remind you of important things during the day as well as to get you up in the morning.

If the alarm time is reached when the Nokia 6120 is switched off the phone will even automatically turn itself on and make the alarm sound.

1. Press the Nokia Menu key to the left of the 1 and 2 keys to get to the main menu then choose Applications then Clock. On some phones you may have to click on Organiser and then Clock
   
2. Make sure the clock is showing the right date and time. If it is not choose Options with the left Selection key then choose Settings and use the Scroll key to move through the options selecting them by pressing the Scroll key and making changes then choosing OK
3. In this settings area you can also choose the alarm tone. Scroll down the screen till you see Clock alarm tone and click the Scroll key. Scroll through the list of tones available. Linger on each option to hear it sounding, and when you find the one you like best choose Select
4. To leave the Settings area choose Back with the right Selection key
5. To set an alarm choose Options with the left Selection key and choose New quick alarm. Use the number pad to set the alarm time, and if you have chosen a 12 hour clock use the ‘p’ and ‘a’ keys to identify whether the alarm is for a PM or an AM time. Then click on OK
6. When the alarm rings you can use the right Selection key to Snooze for five minutes or the left Selection key to stop the alarm.
7. To change the alarm time Options with the left Selection key and choose New quick alarm to add a new alarm or Reset alarm to change the existing alarm
8. To delete the alarm completely choose Options with the left Selection key and choose Remove alarm and confirm by choosing Yes
