Nokia already developing Windows Phone 7 device?

Analyst Brian Blair believes that it's plausible Nokia is already working with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform

Nokia could already be building a Windows Phone 7 device, according to analyst Brian Blair.

Blair spoke to Barrons ahead of the forthcoming analyst day being held by Nokia in London, stating that conversations with various industry sources (whom he opted to leave nameless) have led him to believe that Nokia has already begun developing hardware in conjunction with Microsoft's mobile OS.

Recent comments relating to Nokia's upcoming MeeGo OS have been far from positive, with one source claiming that MeeGo is "the biggest joke in the tech industry right now”, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine Nokia opting to utilise Microsoft's new OS in the short term, giving them breathing space to perfect their own baby.
