CNET.co.uk “There's no doubt in our mind that this is a great handset and a smashing music phone. It'll take a while to get used to it and its laggy navigation makes it annoying at times. But its great sound quality, 3.5mm headphone socket and decent file format support absolutely make it a cut above the rest. As of right now, it's one of our favourite music phones, even though it's not quite a solid replacement for a dedicated MP3 player.” Read the CNet.co.uk Motorola ROKR E8 review |

Infosync “If you're looking for a good music phone on T-Mobile, check out the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phone, which was slim and responsive with great dedicated music keys, instead of the Motorola ROKR E8, which has no keys at all. There wasn't much to like about this phone. The menus were a jumbled mess; the music player was hurt by the strange scroll wheel design and slow hardware; and, to be frank, the touch-panel-that-feels-like-buttons kind of creeped us out.” Read the Infosync Motorola ROKR E8 review |

Mobile Phones UK “The Motorola ROKR E8 is a first-class music phone with a whopping 2GB of memory built in, and support for an additional 4GB memory card. It's a sleek, minimalist phone with a context-sensitive touchscreen that works very well. Other features include an FM radio, 2 megapixel camera, web browser, quadband and an excellent battery life. Highly recommended!” Read Mobile Phones UK's Motorola ROKR E8 review |

Your Mobile Phone Reviews “The ROKR E8 is a stunning mobile phone which comes with user friendly control features as well as high quality music features. The main feature on this attractive handset is its changeable keypad which supports haptic touch feedback & mode shift... The Motorola ROKR E8 is waiting to be discovered & enjoyed.” Read Your Mobile Phone Reviews Motorola ROKR E8 review |

Trusted Reviews “This is a chunky phone that my pockets loathed. The haptic changing touchpad is a clever idea but not, in itself, enough to make me want to own this mobile. The camera also lets things down, as does the lack of 3G. This is a real pity. I believe Motorola can do innovation, but the company just seems to fall at the final hurdle.” Read the Trusted Reviews Motorola ROKR E8 review |

Pocket Lint “It is clear that the Rokr E8 wants to be your music player and this is something it does very well, baring, of course the lack of a real button to access this feature. The music sounds good, although if you like bass, you’ll have to opt for the maximum "Bass Boost" setting, which is an arbitrary value of 7, bizarrely. The dedicated 3.5mm socket is commendable and the ModeShift feature makes navigation easy; the interface is the best we’ve seen from Motorola for some time.” Read the Pocket Lint Motorola ROKR E8 review |
