Playing music on the Motorola RIZR

With the Motorola RIZR ’s in-built music player you can play sound files stored under Music in the Multi Media section. To do this, select the file you want to play and press The Central Navigation Button.

The second method is to use the Digital Audio Music Player application. This is a standalone music player that lets you listen to your favourite MP3 tracks either stored on your handset or on your memory card.

To access the Digital Audio Media Player:

• From the Standby screen, press The Central Navigation Button and highlight Games & Apps. Press Select (Figure 1).
• Select Digital Audio Player (Figure 2).

Organising music

The Media Player (Figure 3) lets you organise Playlists (Figure 4)or search your music by Artists, Albums, Songs and Genres, and then listen to them on headphones or connected speakers.

• Select one of these options to access the music catalogued under each of these headings by pressing Play.
• Alternatively choose the song, artist, album or genre you want to listen to and press Play (Figure 5).
• When playing music, pressing Left or Right on the central direction buttons scrolls through the track listing. The Up and Down buttons let you browse the tracks in that playlist.

You can also manage the sound files such as ringtones and music tracks that you have downloaded and stored on the Motorola RIZR:

• From the Menu screen, select Multi Media (Figure 6).
• Scroll to Music and press Select (Figure 7).
• Scroll down to the music track or ringtone you want to manage and press Options.(Figure 8)
• Then choose to Listen Via Bluetooth , Apply As Ringtone(Figure 10), Create New (Voice Record, Playlist, or Melody)(Figure 9), Mark (Current or All ), or Categories (Figure 11), View Storage Devices, Free Space, Properties (Figure 12), Sounds Setup (Figure 13).
