Using Voice Commands on the RIZR

By saying certain commands or stored Phonebook names and numbers into the phone, the Motorola RIZR will either open that application or make a call.

When you set up Voice Commands on the Motorola RIZR Z3 the preset commands will save you having to scroll and click through menus

The Motorola RIZR has a number of pre-set voice commands allowing you to use your phone simply by speaking into it, saving you time by not having to scroll through and click into menus.

Using voice commands you can make calls or send emails and voice messages to contacts in your Phonebook, and use certain applications including Camera, Voicemail, Redial and accessing Received Calls.

To use voice commands, press and release the Voice Key (The long black button on the right-hand side of the keypad). By saying certain commands or stored Phonebook names and numbers into the phone, the Motorola RIZR will either open that application or make a call.

Choice Lists

If the Motorola RIZR does not recognise your voice command it will ask you to repeat what you have said. If it does not recognise the name or number you said when Voice or Digit dialling, it will display a list of options and speak each one in turn, asking if you meant it. Say “Yes” to make the call, or “No” to move onto the next choice.
