Switching on Airplane mode on the Motorola RAZR V3i

Chris Leonard

Turn off the Motorola RAZR V3i calling features in phone unfriendly zones while still using your music player

Airplane mode enables you to turn off your Mototola V3i’s calling features in places where phone use is not permitted, for instance when travelling on an airplane. When activated, Airplane Mode lets you use only the phone’s non-calling features such as datebook, games or the Music Player.

To turn on Airplane Mode:

  • Press Menu (The [–] button), highlight Settings (Figure 1) and press Select.
  • Scroll down to Airplane Mode (Figure 2) and press Select.
  • If you want the phone to ask you if you want to turn on Airplane Mode when you turn the phone on, choose Prompt At Power Up (Figure 3), select On and press Change.
  • Highlight Airplane Mode (Figure 4) and press Change. Then choose On.
