The Motorola KRZR has Bluetooth technology, a free and easy way for you communicate wirelessly with other devices, whether you want to swap pictures with friends, swap ringtones or listen to music tracks.

Switching Bluetooth On

When using Bluetooth, give a name to your Motorola KRZR so that friends can easily recognise your handset.
The Motorola KRZR’s default name is ‘Motorola Phone’. This is what other Bluetooth devices will see when looking for you. To personalise your phone’s name, follow these steps:

  • From the Menu screen, highlight Connection and press Select (Figure 1).
  • Select Bluetooth Link (The Bluetooth icon) (Figure 2).
  • Scroll down to Setup and click Select (Figure 3).
  • Scroll down to Power and click Change (Figure 4).
  • Select On (Figure 5).
  • Highlight Name: Motorola Phone and click Change (Figure 6).
  • Edit the name of the phone to what you want and click OK (Figure 7).
The confirmation Changed: [Name] will appear (Figure 8).
