Tall Chair’s Cowboys vs Zombies, a tower defence game for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, is to be released tomorrow (July 27, 2010).
Combining horror with the old Wild West, Cowboys vs Zombies has players defending the town’s sheriff from swathes of evil undead.
In this variant of the popular genre, zombies can destroy the buildings the cowboys defend from. Lose them all, and the sheriff is exposed. Lose the sheriff, and it is game over.
Fortunately, your gun-slinging heroes can be moved around, making when to hold and when to retreat of real tactical importance, and to add some longevity, your posse can be upgraded to improve its shooting potential.
Cowboys vs Zombies will be available from the App store on July 27, 2010, and will come with a one day promotional launch price of 59p.
