Sega has released screenshots of Super Monkey Ball 2 for iPhone.

So far, it looks like Sega has upped the visual fidelity since the original Super Monkey Ball hit the App Store’s virtual shelves. Check out the texture detail on the blocks of what looks like a castle with a railway track running through it – there’s definitely more going on than in Super Monkey Ball 2’s prequel.

Super Monkey Ball 2 is heading for an early December release, while the original Super Monkey Ball is currently available for £2.39.
