A job posting on Apple's site suggests it's building-up its own game development team

Apple’s job boards have revealed that it may be rearing up to make its own internal game development team.
The job posting, which you can check on Apple’s own site, calls for a ‘Game/Media Software Engineer’ who’s a passionate gamer and has worked on AAA titles in the past. While the blurb says that they’ll be working on ‘interactive multimedia experiences’, we reckon that’ll most likely boil down to games.
Of course, Apple’s already dipped its toes into gaming waters once first-party Apple games do start turning up, having released Texas Hold’em last year, but we’ve quite frankly been disappointed that no others have surfaced.
Given the relatively short lead times associated with iPhone games, it might not be that long until we start seeing Apple-branded games turn up on the App Store. Think you’ve got what it takes to become Apple’s next gaming software engineer? Check out the job post.
