Wolfenstein 3D Classic has now been upgraded with a Platinum badge, and includes 21 new levels from 1992 prequel Spear of Destiny

Id Software’s Wolfenstein 3D Classic has been given a major update that adds hours of extra gameplay content.
Now called Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum, which is a bit of a mouthful, the game now includes all the levels from Spear of Destiny, a prequel to the original Wolfenstein 3D in story terms. Previous purchasers of Wolfenstein 3D Classic will be able to upgrade to the Platinum edition for free, and will find 21 new levels of play through, including five boss fights.
Wolfenstein 3D was one of the original first-person shooters, and proved to be a huge inspiration for developers throughout the 90s. Spear of Destiny was released around six months after the original Wolfenstein 3D back in 1992. It didn’t manage to make quite the same impact as its predecessor, so it makes sense for id Software to include it as part of the Wolfenstein 3D package.
The complete Wolfenstein 3D Classic Platinum is available now for £1.19.
