EA has released screenshots of its upcoming iPhone game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, a great-looking RTS game

Screenshots of EA’s Command & Conquer Red Alert for iPhone have been released.

They show that the game’s going to use a similar look to the PC version of the game, with a battlefield full of 3D that you view from a top-down, god-like strategic point of view.

Just like almost every game in the Command & Conquer series, it’ll be a real-time strategy game where you build up your army to face-off against a similarly equipped army in a ‘guns blazing’ fight to the death. Lots of carnage and drama then.

Touch Arcade has managed to have a hands-on preview with the game, and reports back that Command & Conquer Red Alert is coming along nicely, “one of the more impressive iPhone games” that writer Eli Hodapp has checked out recently.
