Three great iPhone games go free

Nimblebit has made three of its casual iPhone puzzlers free to download – Textropolis, Sky Burger and Scoops.

Textropolis is an ingenious word search game that sees you travelling across the world, using the letters the make up famous cities as your fuel. So in one level you might be making works out of A-M-S-T-E-R-D-A-M. A cute visual extra, the city builds up as you find more words. It’s one of our favourite word games on the App Store, so go check it out now.

The other two free games are rather similar, but still definitely worth a look. You have to build a huge burger and skyscraper-like ice cream cone in Sky Burger and Scoops respectively, using the accelerometer to control your stack. The higher your construction gets, the more it’ll sway so there are some neat physics touches involved too.

Before these games had their prices dropped a few hours ago, they were selling for £1.19 so they’re well worth snapping up this weekend.
