Pocket God gets its own DLC
Andrew Williams
You can now buy extra content from within Pocket God thanks to its 26th update, which adds micro-transactions... and ghosts

The latest update to the bestselling Pocket God brings micro-transactions to the table, letting you customise your little pygmy island.
For 59p, you can dress up your T-Rex with various hats and tattoos. Although perhaps not the greatest use of micro-transactions imaginable, seeing them in one of the App Store’s most popular games is a positive step.
Pocket God is on its 26th free update and has managed to maintain its position in the Top 100 Paid Apps chart better than virtually any other. It’s hardly even a game though – more of a virtual toy box. You’re given an island full of pygmies to throw around, or to torture if that’s more your style.
Aside from paid-for DLC, Pocket God’s 26th update adds ghosts. If you manage to kill one of your poor pygmies, they’ll reappear as ghosts and float around the island. Pocket God is available now for 59p.
