Blades of Fury video preview

Blades of Fury is Gameloft's upcoming iPhone fighter, and it's looking not entirely unlike an homage to Tekken and Soul Calibur

Gameloft’s one-on-one iPhone brawler Blades of Fury has been doing the rounds in video form, with an official trailer and hands-on preview.
The first video to pop up was from Gameloft itself and shows what’s presumably the game’s opening cinematic. So, while it doesn’t show any actual gameplay footage, rather opting for a fully scripted CGI extravaganza, it gives you a feel for Blades of Fury’s style, which is rooted in magic, broadswords and other such medieval carnage.
The second video to come out of the PAX games conference was courtesy of Touch Arcade, which was lucky enough to get a hands-on with the game. This video reveals that Blades of Fury is a fairly traditional brawler, looking not that dissimilar from popular console series Soul Calibur.
In this demo, the game seems to be running at an impressive frame rate considering the amount of action going on. You can check out both of these videos below.
