Developers of the Nintendo DS title 'Warlock of Firetop Mountain', Big Blue Bubble, is bringing five Fighting Fantasy games to the iPhone.

These five iPhone releases are based on the 80's hit RPG of the same name, but naturally replaces real dice for virtual, using the accelerometer to simulate rolls.

The first game to make it to store will be the Warlock of Firetop Mountain, which should hit around October of this year.

All five will be ports of the books; meaning text, illustrations, and plenty of page turning, thankfully the later has been automated for easier progression.

Inventories are selected and controlled via the iPhone's touchscreen and Big Blue Bubble has thoughtfully added a game save function meaning that you can dip in and out of a game at your leisure.

The remaining four titles (Citadel of Chaos, Deathtrap Dungeon, Creature of Havoc and City of Thieves) should follow soon after, with roughly a two month gap between each.

Pricing for the series is unannounced, but we're guessing that something like 59p-99p will be the order of the day.
