I-play has released Football Tycoon, a game that sees you at the helm of a growing football empire.
Wash away any comparisons to Championship Manager or Football Manager that may be lingering in the back of your mind- you’re not managing a football club in Football Tycoon, but everything that surrounds it.
You’ll be constructing stadiums, making deals with agents and even indulging in a few bets on the side for a bit of extra cash. There’s nothing like a bit of shady business to spice-up a mobile game.
Football Tycoon still stays in fairly casual waters, with mini-games to play that determine how well some of your business transactions go. It’s a friendly-looking game too, with the game’s city drawn in colourful, cartoon strokes rather than a particularly realistic style.
Does Football Tycoon try to blend too many genres into one game? We’ll be reviewing the game soon to find out. Football Tycoon is available now.
