EA has released more screenshots of the upcoming The Sims 3 iPhone game. Less flash than the last batch, but they show off the interface nicely

EA has released new screenshots of The Sims 3 for iPhone. They show a little more of the actual game interface than the last screenshots we put up of the game.
Check out the close-up screenshot of the character and you’ll see that The Sims 3 will offer great scope for designing your very own person. The buttons on the left hand-side of the screen tell us that you’ll be able to edit their features, skin colour and gender alongside every element of their clothing. We’re not sure if we’d go for the ‘emo punk’ look that EA’s demonstrator has plumped for though.
The other screenshots also point towards a tap-friendly control system. The ‘fir tree’ screenshot shows how you’ll be able to tap on an object to bring up a menu of possible interactions. You can even talk to fir frees. What more could you want in a game?
The Sims 3 for iPhone is looking to be a game that’s been fully tailored to the iPhone’s strengths, and we’ve got high hopes that it’ll prove to be one of EA’s best. We’ll be reserving judgement until we get our hands on the final product though, which will be available from the App Store in June.
