Zenonia is hugely popular in Korea, but could it be a hit in the UK too? Check out this video preview and see if it's up your street

Zenonia from Gamevil is almost ready to hit the App Store, and Touch Arcade has managed to capture an extensive hands-on video of the game, which you can see below.

If you haven’t heard of it, Zenonia is massively popular in Korea, where RPG games on mobile are appreciated far more than they are over here. The iPhone is yet to find its first killer, mainstream roleplaying game, and we’re hoping Zenonia could claim that particular crown. Sure, we loved The Quest from Chillingo when we reviewed it, but we think that Zenonia’s Zelda-like cartoony quality could appeal to a wider audience.

Zenonia claims to offer a massive 40 hours of gameplay, which is on par with the largest games currently available on iPhone. We’re certainly digging the visual style, but what do you think?

The video below shows off the first ten minutes of the game, so contains a few story spoilers that you might want to save for when you actually get to play the game. Skip to 5 minutes if you’d like to avoid the story introduction. Zenonia’s due to be submitted to Apple on the 15th May, so expect to see it on the App Store towards the end of the month.
