Eminem game coming to iPhone

An Eminem-flavoured game is being released for the iPhone to coincide with the rapper's new Relapse album

According to the MTV website, Eminem is releasing an iPhone game to accompany his new album, Relapse.

As the screenshot suggests, the game’s likely to be a violent affair, with Eminem’s trademark shouty aggression splattered all over the screen, along with the blood and guts of the game’s zombie adversaries of course.

It’s apparently based on the rapper’s 3 A.M. music video. A creepy trailer of it has been released on Youtube, to give you an idea of what’s in store for your iPhone.

If it’s the sort of standard advergame freebie we’ve seen many times from car companies over the past few months, it’s unlikely to be all that much cop. It might even come under fire from Apple’s own content police, considering that the recent Nine Inch Nails app was rejected because of not-all-that-offensive ‘objectionable’ content.

If it does make it through the Apple assault course that is the iPhone app submission process, you can expect to the game released on the 19th May, alongside Eminem’s new Relapse album.
